Compliance Initiatives
Promoting Export Compliance culture
Our main aim is promoting an effective international culture of compliance with the relevant Export regulations within the financial, economic, industrial, academic and associative system of the private and public sector.
We have activated several programs to sustain the studies, internships, research and publication of deserving students, researchers and professional in the domain of Export Compliance.
The funding of scholarships, research grants, PhDs and other programs comes from internal resources or contributions by private EIFEC members.
We do not seek public funding.
THE PROGRAMS
Master courses
We plan yearly several scholarships/grants in favour of officials or member of Public Administrations of acceptable States.
Research grants
The Adriana Campagna Fund (the first VP of EIFEC accredited to the European Parliament) covers the funding of research on a yearly base.
An agreement with the relevant University or Research Center must be in place, and the candidature must be accepted.
Until today 14 grants have been approved.
PhD grants
The Adriana Campagna Fund (the first VP of EIFEC accredited to the European Parliament) covers the funding of PhD on the base of the agreed duration.
An agreement with the relevant University or Research Center must be in place, and the candidature must be accepted.
Until today three (3) grants has been approved.
Two scholars have already completed the 3 years PhD program on Export Compliance.Training in the USA with BIS (Bureau of Industry and Security) of the Department of Commerce
Since 2017, every year, we have a contest between our Master students.
The winner become appointed Santa Claus Export Compliance Officer for the year and is entitled to attend the join training with BIS and expenses are covered by EIFEC.
This year, in honour of a professor of our Master course in Italy that passed away prematurely, Dr Nicola Giorgi of BIPER BANCA and as recognition of his excellent skills and wit, the fund is titled
the Nicola Giorgi Scholarship Program
